One liter of tears (Ichi Rittorou No Namida)
I did not cry one liter of tears of course, even though the thought of sitting for 4 exams in 5 days made me come close to tears (Friday-Engineering Design, Sunday-Fluids 2 (killer module), Monday- System Control, Tuesday-World Cities, if I survive this shit, I will be able to take any kinda shit in the future).
On a more serious note, 'One liter of tears' is a Japanese drama series based on the real life account of a 15 year old girl, Aya Kitou. Strucked by a terminal illness called Spinocerebullar Disorder, she will eventually be robbed of her freedom to move her body due to the continual deterioation of her cerebullum. I'm not a fan of sappy drama, and definitely not someone who would get weepy after watching a serial drama. Which is why I find it incredulous that I came dangerously close to shedding tears during several episodes of this show.
If a show is able to push a cold hearted, stoically indifferent man like me to the brink of tears, you should take my word for it that this is a good show. My review for this show? A glorious 5 out of 5 stars of course. Strong chemistry between the cast, brilliant cinematography and most importantly, it touched me. Come to think of it, I have never used that word for a very long time...
